A job is something you have for a time, a career is a profession for life, a calling is what you were born to do. At Indochine Counsel we strive to hire individuals who view the law as a calling, something that they were born to do. We look for passion and drive, enthusiasm and attitude.
Once we’ve found the right people, we offer a working environment that is filled with friendly and helpful faces, staff, and mentors. We believe in a positive work-life balance that allows our lawyers to practice their calling while at the same time fostering those relationships that are so important in our lives.
Indochine Counsel hires lawyers for the long term. We don’t believe in working with lawyers for a year and then tossing them out, and we hope that our lawyers feel the same way about us. We offer regular training workshops and encourage our lawyers to obtain postgraduate degrees. We actively support our lawyers in developing their skills and we hope to see young lawyers mature into experienced practitioners.
We welcome all inquiries. Please review the pages in this section to get a better idea of what opportunities are available.
Interns & Trainees
As part of the requirements to be certified as a practicing attorney, you must complete a year long traineeship under the supervision of an experienced attorney. At Indochine Counsel we welcome trainees and seek to help them understand every aspect of our business. We feel it is important for a trainee to experience all the aspects of practicing law at our firm so they can better decide what area of law they wish to practice once they enter full fellowship in the Bar Association.
Foreign Law Students
We welcome summer interns from foreign law schools who are seeking an adventure in law and in life. Vietnam has many great opportunities for travel and for legal innovation. We view a summer internship as an opportunity for students to understand a vibrant and dynamic culture while at the same time learning important practical skills for their future practice.
If you’re called to law and want to gain valuable experience for your future, please submit your cover letter and C/V to email@example.com.
Indochine Counsel is always looking for experienced attorneys who can bring their knowledge and enthusiasm to the practice of law. While we don’t advertise specific positions we do welcome applications on a rolling basis. If you are a certified attorney who is called to the law and who has a desire to work hard and to develop as an attorney, then please submit your cover letter and C/V to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Indochine Counsel recognizes that everyone is different, and that each person faces unique challenges and obstacles in life. As such, we have instituted a policy of non-discrimination that we apply to all job applicants and to all employees. The ability to work hard and to interact professionally and ethically with clients, other lawyers and stakeholders is the metric by which Indochine Counsel judges its employees.
